Agreement with 119 Institutional Investors
119 institutional investors accused Vivendi SE of disseminating false or misleading information between 2000 and 2002, which caused significant stock market losses. After twenty-two years of litigation in U.S. and French courts, the parties reached a settlement resolving the pending dispute before the International Chamber of the Paris Court of Appeal.
Oliver Berg, an attorney at the Paris Bar (BTK Suchet Avocats), in cooperation with the U.S. law firms Sturman, Motley Rice, Labaton, and BFA, and the German law firm TILP, represented 31 institutional investors in this case (July 1, 2024).
Representation of Investors
Wirecard AG, a German company listed on the Frankfurt Stock Exchange and a member of the DAX 30 index, was at the center of a major financial scandal, causing significant losses to investors.
